Drone Filming

Cinematic Drone Filming as Part of Your Video Production

I’m a professional camera operator offering aerial drone filming as part of a complete video production service. Using a DJI Mavic 4 Pro, I capture high-quality, cinematic aerial footage that integrates seamlessly with ground-based filming for commercial, corporate and branded video projects.

I’m fully licensed, insured and experienced, making drone filming straightforward and hassle-free for clients, from planning and permissions through to delivery.

Drone filming isn’t a bolt-on or an afterthought. It’s an integrated part of how I approach visual storytelling.

By combining my work as a camera operator with professional aerial filming, I can capture establishing shots, dynamic movement and unique perspectives that elevate your film — without the complexity of coordinating multiple suppliers.

The DJI Mavic 4 Pro allows me to work efficiently on location while delivering sharp, stable, cinematic aerial footage suitable for broadcast, online and commercial use.

  • “As a producer, I've dealt with my fair share of cameramen, but Chris truly stands out. When I needed someone to capture an annual company conference, I was looking for someone who wouldn't just film the presentations and call it a day. I wanted someone who could tell a story, capture the energy of the event, and translate it into a compelling video. Chris did exactly that – and more.”

FAQs

Do you do half days for aerial filming?

Absolutely, often the drone filming can be completed in around an hour or so, no need to pay for the whole day.

I can work to most budgets depending on your requirements and always try to be as flexible as possible. My rate card is available upon request. If you are interested working with me long term on a number of projects, I offer discounts based on the number of days.

Does your rate include kit?

My rate includes myself and all my kit at no extra cost. I have a lot of kit so will normally only bring what is required for that project and a few spares.

Can you travel from Southampton?

I love to travel and visit new places, so absolutely. I’ve been lucky enough to work all over the world, not just in the UK. I have a full clean drivers licence, my own car and able to travel almost anywhere.

Can you take care of the paper work?

Flying the drone is the fun part, the paperwork and permission is less exciting but often necessary. I’m happy to get all the paperwork in place before filming and take care of NATs
